Listen Live

For those who aren’t familiar with internet radio, here’s a brief description:

Traditional Radio: When listening to a live, call-in talk show on broadcast radio (in your car, at work, etc.), you are listening to a syndicated show being produced in a studio and sent to various stations who broadcast to their audience. Only one show can be broadcast at one time on any given station.

Internet Radio: Internet radio programs are basically produced by individuals behind their microphones at their home computers and broadcast through a common internet studio. The power and flexibility of the internet allows for any number of shows to be broadcast to the hub, where any number of people can listen in just by clicking on a button during the live broadcast. In the case of BlogTalkRadio, that button looks like this:

Listen Live

To make the programming interactive, each program is assigned a phone number to which listeners can call in and talk to the host and one another, live and on-air. Callers are identified to the host by their phone numbers, and are put on air, muted or ‘hung up’ on by the program host.

Shortly after the show is completed, the program is archived and available to the public for listening on-line or downloadable as podcasts.

For PREPARE radio, here are the numbers you need to know:

To call in during the program: (718) 664-6988

To email the host during the program: nc.dianne@gmail.com

To Instant Message the host during the program:

YahooMessenger: ncpatriot8

GoogleTalk: nc.dianne

AIM: diannethomasmin

“See” you then!

Overcoming Woundedness

April 22nd, 2007 @

We all have wounds, and hopefully we’ve all come to agree that the Lord wants us healed from those wounds so that we can be free from that binding pain and live as the free spirit-beings He created us to be.

But there’s another reason we need to learn how to get healed.

Our fear of pain, of being wounded, often keeps us from pursuing the intimate, real relationship with our God out of fear of being hurt again. As we consistently overcome our past wounds, even the generational and self-inflicted wounds, we develop within our soul the willingness to risk making mistakes and/or accepting any assignment from Him, knowing we WILL be wounded in the process. We now know how to go to Him to get healed, and we become willing to accept and endure the pain (though we may not enjoy it) because we know He will heal us. We have overcome the notion that experiencing pain is an indication of sin, disobedience or displeasure.

So being willing to be hurt again is an indication that we have confidence in that area that we have learned how to go to Daddy to receive healing.

This makes us a true warrior available for service, and a true enemy of that ole curmudgeon, satan.
