Good News about Rejection :)

By now you’ve heard me say that there are two kinds of people in the world, those that have been rejected and those that have been rejected more. The good news about rejection, at least here on earth, is that because it is something we will always face, there will likely come a time that it won’t bother us as much as it likely does now. I know, that’s not saying much, but accepting the inevitable – that becoming one with God doesn’t prevent rejection, pain and struggle – hopefully adds to entering that rest of the present. Without the dichotomy of the right and left hand of God in our lives, without the pain, joy stands alone and is taken for granted. And we lose the appreciation for the one and the gratitude for the other that is a hallmark of our relationship with the Eternal.

Just a quick overview of some of the plans for the ministry going forward.

Our goal has always been to make the truths of Dependent Grace practical and applicable to all, regardless of their denominational background or cultural upbringing. To that end, DTM Publishing has produced the first three books in “The Eternal Life Series,” Practical Christianity, Getting Healed and Knowing God, and a fourth is in the works. Subsequent messages and teachings will be based on these foundational teachings.

In the coming months we will be expanding our on-line presence to include an expanded range of topical articles, an interactive blog, message quizzes, a live internet talk radio program, topical podcasts from the radio program and additional topics, and a vlog (video blog). MP3 audio teachings will be made available on CD or for download, as well as “The Eternal Life Series” audio books. The web site and newsletter formats will also be revised as needed. As the Lord affirms we are also making ourselves available for speaking engagements, and eventually we would like to sponsor gatherings on a regular basis. We will be providing more frequent updates in the months ahead.

Words cannot express the gratitude to all of you who are supporting this ministry in various ways. I am so thankful, and I ask our Daddy to bless you an hundred-fold in whatever way He sees fit. Thank you!

2008 Updates Coming

We all need to be able to experientially recognize, test and act on what the Spirit is saying to us as individuals, so much of what we will be addressing through the blog and through the call-in internet radio program will be geared toward building confidence in our ability to hear His voice through practical exercises and conversation. We will be discussing a wide range of topics, from relationships, finances and politics to entertainment, fashion and humor, as real world examples of how we can know God’s voice in every situation.Join us Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30p.m. est and Saturdays at 10 a.m. (“PREPARE RADIO” link above), or if you can’t be at your computer for the live broadcasts, podcasts are available at BTR (subscribe for free or visit regularly). For The Week: Patient Perseverance

Don’t rush your decisions anytime, but especially this season. There are factors that have not yet come to the surface, so your conclusion that you have all the information you need may be premature. Ask the Lord if it’s time to make the decision, then ask Him for wisdom. Don’t “sign on the dotted line” until you’ve heard from Him, whether with a specific answer or the assurance that you are heading in the right direction. “Guessing” is NOT the same as “Deciding.” Every decision is an opportunity to gain confidence. Be Bold in pressing in for an answer.
